Job Description
- Responsible for ensuring the projects kick off and the budgets are delivered.
- Defines processes/procedures for the successful administration of the project.
- Ensures the transition of the partnership from collaboration to joint venture.
- Supports the commercial development.
- Guides the solution roadmap-ensuring it aligns with AGL values and development initiative.
- Build, inspire lead a high performing team.
- Responsible for overall administrative functions of the Unit
- Oversee business development activities for Projects, Transit solutions and Transport using own fleet (general & heavy lifts)
- Monitor the Business Unit services to ensure that they are in line with customer expectations
- Ensure the Operations are in compliance with statutory requirements
- Determine and meet resource requirements including labour, equipment and investments in order to achieve the organization’s goals
- Establish and sustain relationships with strategic partners including, KRA, other government agencies and customers
- Plan and oversee the execution of daily operational activities
- Prepare annual budgets for the BU.
Profile
- Master’s degree in business
- Knowledge of Logistics-Clearing and Forwarding.
- Minimum 6 years relevant experience in a busy logistics environment.
