Taita-Taveta County is a county of Kenya. It lies approximately 200 km northwest of Mombasa and 360 km southeast of Nairobi. The capital is Mwatate, although it is the third-largest town in the county after Voi, Wundanyi and Taveta in that order.

Requirements for Appointment
- Be a Kenyan Citizen;
- Be a holder of Bachelor Degree in the following disciplines: Information Communication Technology/Computer Science;
- Must possess KCSE Certificate;
- Certificate in Computer application from a recognized institution;
- Any other related course will be an added advantage.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Giving theoretical and practical instruction in the area of specialization to trainees;
- Preparing and maintaining schemes of work, lesson plan, lesson notes, trainees’ records teaching and learning materials;
- Administering examinations, evaluation and preparing trainee progress reports;
- Ensuring proper care and maintenance of tools and equipment;
- Organizing and conducting co-curricular activities;
- Maintaining trainees discipline;
- Guiding and counseling trainees;
- Preparation of departmental budgets;
- Supervising projects and income generating activities;
- Coordinating and supervising trainees on industrial attachment and field work;
- Monitoring and evaluating NITA training programmes;
- Answerable to the manager;
- Perform any other duties as may be assigned from time to time by the manager.
