We are seeking a WordPress UI/UX Designer to refine and complete professionally built WordPress websites for small and growing businesses.
This role focuses on layout improvement, visual clarity, typography, spacing, and user experience, using the WordPress block editor (Gutenberg) with Astra / Spectra. You will work within existing structures to deliver clean, business-ready websites.
What You’ll Do
- Improve page layout, spacing, and visual hierarchy
- Refine typography and button/CTA placement
- Ensure mobile responsiveness and usability
- Build and adjust pages using Gutenberg blocks only
- Apply client feedback and finalize sites to approval
- Communicate clearly with clients when needed (WhatsApp / short calls)
What We’re Looking For
- Strong experience with WordPress Gutenberg
- Comfortable using Astra theme / Spectra blocks
- Good UI/UX judgment (clarity over decoration)
- Ability to improve existing designs without over-engineering
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and deadline-driven
- Comfortable working from clear briefs and checklists
