The Role
- We’re looking for a Senior Software Engineer – Technical Lead (.NET) to own our backend systems and lead a growing team of engineers. This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll architect scalable services, shape our ML-powered features, and establish the engineering standards that will define our platform.
What You’ll Do
- Lead the design and development of backend services using C#/.NET
- Architect and optimise MongoDB databases for high-throughput workloads
- Build and integrate machine learning models for key platform features
- Mentor backend engineers and drive technical excellence across the team
- Own system reliability, performance, and technical decision-making
- Collaborate across product, frontend, mobile, and DevOps to ship features end-to-end
What You Bring
- 7+ years in software engineering with 5+ years in C#/.NET
- 3+ years with MongoDB in production
- 2+ years leading or mentoring engineering teams
- Practical ML experience – model development, training, and deployment
- Strong API and microservices design skills
- Experience with distributed systems, caching, and message queues
Bonus Points
- Experience in gaming, fintech, or high-transaction platforms
- Familiarity with AWS, MLOps practices, or real-time systems
- Knowledge of Nigerian payment integrations
