Role Description
- This is a contract hybrid role for a Webmaster based in Lagos, allowing for a combination of in-office and remote work. The Webmaster will be responsible for designing, managing, and maintaining the organization’s websites to ensure optimal performance and user experience.
- Daily tasks will include website updates, troubleshooting, integrating e-commerce features, monitoring web analytics, and coordinating web-based projects.
- The role also involves collaborating with the editorial and marketing teams to ensure alignment with content and business goals.
Qualifications
- Experience with Web Design and understanding of user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) best practices
- Extensive knowledge in E-Commerce platforms and tools integration
- Strong skills in Programming languages commonly used for web development
- Proficiency in Project Management to coordinate web initiatives and meet deadlines
- Ability to analyze and report data using Web Analytics tools
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work efficiently in a hybrid work environment
- Experience with content management systems (e.g., WordPress, Joomla) is a plus
- Familiarity with SEO best practices and digital marketing concepts is an advantage.
