Role Description

• This is a full-time role for a Data Scientist at DrugStoc.
• The Data Scientist will be responsible for utilizing data science, statistics, data analytics, data visualization, and data analysis to derive actionable insights and support decision-making within the organization.

Responsibilities

Data Analysis and Interpretation:

• Analyze large and complex datasets to extract meaningful insights.
• Develop and implement statistical models and algorithms to identify trends and patterns.
• Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) to discover new opportunities for business improvement.

Predictive Modeling and Machine Learning:

• Build, test, and deploy predictive models and machine learning algorithms.
• Evaluate model performance and continuously improve accuracy and efficiency.
• Implement machine learning pipelines and workflows.

Data Visualization and Reporting:

• Create data visualizations and dashboards to communicate findings to stakeholders.
• Prepare detailed reports and presentations that translate complex data into actionable insights.
• Collaborate with business units to understand their data needs and deliver relevant solutions.

Data Management and Engineering:

• Clean, preprocess, and transform raw data for analysis.
• Ensure data quality and integrity through rigorous testing and validation.
• Work with data engineers to optimize data pipelines and storage solutions.

Collaboration and Communication:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, engineering, marketing, and sales.
• Communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders effectively.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to data analysts.

Requirements

• Data Science, Statistics, and Data Analytics skills
• Data Visualization and Data Analysis skills
• Experience in interpreting and analyzing complex data sets
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R
• Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
