Senior Front-End Software Developer at LongBridge Technologies Ltd

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain complex, responsive, and scalable user interfaces using Vue.js and other modern frameworks like React.js or Angular.
• Architect reusable front-end components and ensure maintainable code structures.
• Collaborate with back-end developers and designers to translate business requirements into functional web applications.
• Optimize applications for performance, speed, and cross-browser/device compatibility.
• Integrate with RESTful APIs and ensure seamless interaction with server-side systems.
• Lead code reviews, maintain coding standards, and mentor junior front-end engineers.
• Contribute to DevOps, CI/CD, and automation of front-end workflows.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 7+ years of professional front-end development experience.
• Expertise in Vue.js is mandatory, including experience with Vuex or Pinia and Vue Router.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3.
• Proven experience working with React.js, Angular, or other modern front-end frameworks.
• Deep understanding of front-end best practices, performance optimization, and responsive design.
• Experience with front-end tooling like Vite, Webpack, Babel, and testing tools such as Jest or Cypress.
• Familiarity with version control (Git) and Agile software development practices.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with UI libraries like Vuetify, Tailwind CSS, or Bootstrap.
• Familiarity with DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI, Jenkins, etc.).
• Experience with accessibility (WCAG), internationalization (i18n), or mobile-first design.
• Exposure to Docker, RESTful service design, and Figma for design hand-offs.
• A portfolio or examples of front-end projects or contributions to open-source.
