Project START Academy is a centre where Children between 9 and 19 are taught Digital and Tech Skills, Entrepreneurial skills and Leadership courses. We have a physical centre at Area 2, Garki, Abuja Nigeria and also have virtual courses and classes for children. Our goal is to expose children to skills that are not usually taught in the four walls of the classroom. We also offer mentorship, scholarship and internship opportunities for children who pass through our academy.
Job Overview
- We are looking for a Web Design Tutor to teach students how to design and build modern websites. You will make lessons easy to follow and guide students to create real projects.
Responsibilities
- Teach web design basics and best practices.
- Show students how to use tools like HTML, CSS, and WordPress (or other tools you use).
- Help students design websites that look good and work well.
- Support students with their projects and answer their questions.
- Give helpful feedback and advice.
Requirements
- Good knowledge of web design and web development.
- Experience using design tools and website builders.
- Can explain design concepts in simple terms.
- Teaching or tutoring experience is a plus.
- Good communication skills.
