Responsibilities
- Software Development: Design, develop, and test MES software applications to meet refinery requirements.
- System Integration: Integrate MES with other systems, such as ERP, SCADA and DCS to ensure seamless data exchange.
- Customization: Customize MES software to meet specific refinery needs such as process optimization and workflow automation
- Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot MES software issues, identify root causes and implement solutions.
- Process Improvement: Collaborate with refinery teams to identify opportunities for process improvement and implement MES solutions.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate documentation of MES software applications, configurations and customizations.
Requirement Skills:
- Programming Languages: Proficiency in programming languages, such as C#, Java, or Python.
- MES Systems: Experience with MES systems, such as SAP ME, Siemens MES, or similar.
- Refinery Operations: Understanding of refinery operations, process and workflows.
- Software Development Methodologies: Knowledge of software development methodologies, such as Agile or Waterfall.
- Database Management: Experience with database management systems such as Oracle, SQL Server or similar.
- Integration: Experience with integrating MES with other systems, such as ERP, SCADA and DCS.
- Candidate should be well versed with AVEVA MES applications like PLIMS, OMS, LIMS, TFMS, BOSS/DBS, AMADAS, Production/Oil Accounting, Oil Movement/MAS, Alaram Management, RTDB.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree: In Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
- Certifications: MES-related certifications, such as SAP ME or Siemens MES, are desirable.
- Industry Experience: Experience working in a refinery or similar industry is preferred.
Tools and Technologies:
- MES Software: SAP ME, Siemens MES, or similar.
- Programming Languages: C#, Java, Python, or similar.
- Database Management Systems: Oracle, SQL Server, or similar.
- Integration Technologies: OPC-UA, MQTT, or similar.
Work experience required:
- 5 years and above.
