Job Overview
- This is a full-time on-site role located in Lagos for a Website Officer. The Website Officer will be responsible for maintaining and updating the company’s website, ensuring it is user-friendly and regularly updated with new content. Day-to-day tasks include managing e-commerce functions, optimizing website performance, monitoring website traffic, improving SEO, and collaborating with other departments to upload new books and promotions. The Website Officer will also be tasked with handling customer inquiries related to the website and troubleshooting technical issues.
Requirements
- Proficiency in website management and maintenance
- Experience in e-commerce and optimizing website performance
- Knowledge of SEO best practices and tools
- Strong attention to detail and ability to troubleshoot technical issues
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively and independently
- Experience in the book retail industry is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Marketing, or related field
