Responsibilities
- Development of new functionality, creation of new services, support for existing solutions, and migration of the application to a microservices structure.
- Product is a Digital Money Lending platform for providing customers with fast loans.
- The product has numerous integrations with various services (banks, service providers, credit bureaus, mobile operators, accounting systems).
Major technologies
- Programming language PHP versions 8+
- Framework: Symfony 5/6;
- Infrastructure: Docker, GCP, Gitlab CI/CD;
- Databases: Mysql 5/8, Redis;
- Queue Broker: Rabbit MQ;
- Testing: PHPUnit.
Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, or any related field is required.
- Must have served (NYSC).
Major Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in PHP programming with Symfony (5+ for senior roles);
- Programming experience with PHP version 8;
- Experience with PHP framework Symfony and its packages:
- Doctrine;
- Dependency Injection
- Validator
- Event Dispatcher
- Messenger
- API Platform
- Experience with MySQL, Redis, Rabbit MQ;
- Knowledge of REST API;
- Experience with Git, Gitlab CI/CD (nice to have for a middle, a must for a senior);
- Understanding of unit/functional/integration testing and experience in writing tests (PHPUnit);
- Experience in developing and maintaining applications in a microservices architecture (nice to have for a middle, a must for a senior);
- Experience with SWAGGER – API description, generation, and SDK usage (nice to have for a middle, a must for a senior);
- Experience with Docker/docker compose (nice to have for a middle, a must for a senior);
- Knowledge of coding standards and adherence to them;
- Understanding of SOLID and DDD (must);
- Experience with Scrum is to your advantage.
