Job overview
- We are looking for a hands-on Full-Stack Lead Engineer who can own everything from architecture decisions to first shipping deadlines.
- You’ll join as our first technical hire with the option to step in as a Co-Founder depending on experience and mutual fit. we are looking for someone comfortable and able to contribute to decisions at the highest strategic level within product and tech as well as other areas of the business.
Responsibilities
- Architect and build high-quality web and mobile applications using modern frameworks.
- Design, implement, and evolve scalable database schemas for consumer-facing e-commerce and content apps.
- Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines and server-less cloud infrastructure (Vercel, AWS, GCP).
- Integrate and experiment with cutting-edge AI services(OpenAI, function calling, multi-modal APIs) and master prompt engineering best practices.
- Prototype modern, interactive user interfaces that delight players—low latency, visually rich, and optimised for both desktop and mobile.
- Work closely with the product team to convert early prototypes or even concepts into high quality software
- Experience with i18N internationalization
- Establish engineering standards and mentor future hires as we scale the engineering team.
Requirements
- Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s Degree
- 5+ years shipping production JavaScript/TypeScript code; deep experience with React/Next.js or similar.
- Solid grounding in computer science fundamentals and modern web architecture patterns.
- Demonstrated cloud infrastructure skills (IaC, server-less functions, logging, monitoring).
- Data modelling chops with relational and/or document databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
- Track record of integrating third-party APIs, especially LLM or generative media services.
- An aggressive ‘can-do’ mindset – bias to ship, measure and rapidly iterate.
