Responsibilities
- Design and implement interactive functionality to boost user involvement.
- Collaborate with designers, back-end engineers, and product managers to turn ideas into functional features.
- Ensure websites load quickly and run smoothly by optimizing code and assets.
- Optimize performance for speed and scalability.
- Test and fix issues to ensure consistent performance across different web browsers and devices.
- Debugging the front end and reporting bugs in back end to Back End Developers.
- Maintaining websites for long-term clients, making design and content changes as requested.
Requirements
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, or a relating field.
- Fluency in several coding languages including HTML, JavaScript, CSS and jQuery.
- Proficiency operating content management and ecommerce systems including WordPress, Joomla and Drupal.
- Proficiency working with cloud solutions, including Amazon Web Services and Azure.
- Artistic creativity for collaborating with Web Designers and clients as required.
- Familiarity with best practices for usability, conversion optimization and accessibility.
- Diagnostic accuracy and problem-solving for debugging websites.
