Job overview
- We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Support Specialist to join our team in Abuja.
- The successful candidate will provide technical support and assistance to our employees, ensuring that all IT systems and equipment are functioning properly
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support and assistance to employees via phone, email, and in-person
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues
- Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, and peripherals
- Set up and configure user accounts, email, and other network services
- Monitor and maintain network security and performance
- Document and track all technical issues and resolutions
- Collaborate with other IT team members to resolve complex technical issues
- Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in IT support
Requirements:
- 2 years of experience in IT support or a related field
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Proficiency in Windows, Microsoft Office, and other productivity software
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- CompTIA A+ or other relevant certifications
- Experience with IT service management tools (e.g. ServiceNow)
- Knowledge of network protocols and architectures
- Experience with cloud-based technologies (e.g. Azure, AWS).
