Job Summary

• We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Data Analyst to join our team.
• The ideal candidate will be responsible for collecting, organizing, and analyzing data to support strategic business decisions.
• This role requires expertise in statistical analysis, data visualization, and the ability to communicate insights effectively to stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Data Collection and Management:

• Gather, clean, and organize data from various sources, including databases, spreadsheets, and external platforms.
• Ensure the accuracy and integrity of data sets by performing quality checks.

Analysis and Reporting:

• Conduct detailed data analyses to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights.
• Develop dashboards, reports, and visualizations to present findings in an understandable and meaningful way.

Collaboration:

• Work with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs and deliver tailored insights.
• Provide recommendations to enhance business performance based on data analysis.

Statistical Analysis:

• Use statistical tools to interpret data, identify correlations, and predict outcomes.
• Perform A/B testing and other data experiments to evaluate strategies and initiatives.

Process Improvement:

• Develop and improve data analysis processes, ensuring scalability and efficiency.
• Automate repetitive data tasks using tools like Python, R, or SQL scripts.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

• Accuracy of data analysis and reporting.
• Timeliness in delivering insights and recommendations.
• Impact of recommendations on business outcomes.

Qualifications and Skills

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field. A master’s degree is a plus.

Experience:

• Minimum 3-6 years of experience in a data analysis or similar role.
• Proven track record of turning raw data into actionable business insights.

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in SQL for database querying.
• Experience with data analysis tools such as Excel, Python, R, or SAS.
• Familiarity with data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
• Understanding of statistical analysis and predictive modeling.

Soft Skills:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Salary
N250,000 – N350,000 Monthly.
