Job Overview
- This is a full-time, on-site role for a Cyber Security Specialist/Server Admin located in Lagos State, Nigeria.
- The Cyber Security Specialist/Server Admin will be responsible for managing and securing the company’s server infrastructure.
- Daily tasks include monitoring network security, implementing security protocols, conducting risk assessments, and responding to security breaches.
- The role also involves maintaining server hardware and software, performing system backups, and ensuring optimal performance and availability of servers.
Qualifications
- Experience in Cyber Security and Information Security management
- Strong skills in Network Security, Risk Assessment, and Security Protocols
- Proficiency in Server Administration, including server hardware and software maintenance
- Knowledge of System Backup procedures and Disaster Recovery planning
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+ are a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
