Overview
- Briskit Agency is looking for a Backend Developer to architect and implement the backend infrastructure for a feature-rich reporting and workflow platform.
- You’ll be responsible for handling user roles, data management, APIs, file uploads, requisitions, and more.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop secure, scalable RESTful APIs using Node.js (Express) or Django
- Implement user authentication with JWT and RBAC for multiple roles
- Build modules for requisitions, campaign lifecycle, vendor management, wallet transactions, and reporting
- Integrate third-party APIs and Firebase notification services
- Handle file uploads and data validations with proper storage logic
- Write unit and integration tests; maintain clean, documented code.
Requirements
- 3+ years of backend development experience (Node.js or Django)
- Strong understanding of API design and data modelling
- Experience with PostgreSQL or similar relational databases
- Familiar with Docker, cloud hosting (AWS/DigitalOcean), and DevOps tools
- Proficiency in Git, version control, and Agile methodologies
- Experience with file handling, chat/messaging systems, and performance optimisation.
