Job overview
- We are seeking a skilled Mobile Engineer with at least 3 years of experience in mobile development using Flutter and React Native.
- The ideal candidate will play a key role in developing, maintaining, and optimizing our mobile applications across iOS and Android.
- You’ll collaborate closely with designers, backend developers, and other team members to ensure a smooth and efficient mobile user experience.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain mobile applications using React Native for both iOS and Android platforms.
- Work with designers to translate UI/UX designs into functional, high-quality mobile interfaces.
- Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of mobile applications.
- Collaborate with backend engineers to integrate mobile apps with APIs and other backend services.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing mobile applications for performance and scalability.
- Ensure the codebase is clean, reusable, and well-documented.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest mobile development trends and tools.
- Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and technical discussions to improve engineering practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum of 3 years experience in mobile app development, with at least 2 years using React Native/Flutter.
- Experience deploying and maintaining apps on both iOS and Android stores.
- Familiarity with native mobile app development (iOS/Android) and the mobile development lifecycle.
- Knowledge of mobile-specific performance optimization, caching, and offline capabilities.
- Experience integrating mobile apps with RESTful APIs and third-party libraries.
- Understanding of version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with TypeScript in React Native/Flutter.
- Familiarity with mobile state management libraries (Redux, MobX).
- Experience with native modules and bridging between React Native/Flutter and native code (iOS/Android).
- Knowledge of mobile testing frameworks (Jest, Detox, Appium).
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for mobile development.
