Job overview
- The Systems Designer & Policy Innovation Consultant will design and facilitate innovative interventions in complex policy and governance environments. The role will apply systems thinking, human-centered design, and participatory approaches to create policies and programmes that are adaptive, inclusive, and impactful across sectors such as governance, health, education, and urban systems.
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in Public Policy, Development Studies, Systems Design, or a related field.
- Master’s degree preferred.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Minimum of 7 years of professional experience in policy innovation, systems design, or related fields.
- Demonstrated expertise in human-centered design and participatory policy approaches.
- Proven ability to work across multiple sectors (health, education, governance, climate, urban systems).
- Strong facilitation and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Ability to communicate complex systems concepts in accessible formats.
- Familiarity with donor-funded programmes and policy reform processes.
