Job Overview
- We are seeking an experienced Django Developer to join our dynamic team in Abuja. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in backend development, API design, and database management.
- You will work closely with the frontend and product teams to build scalable, high-performance applications for enterprise and SaaS platforms.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Django and Django REST Framework.
- Integrate APIs and third-party services.
- Optimize application performance and ensure security best practices.
- Collaborate with frontend developers to deliver seamless user experiences.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
Eligibility
- Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- At least 3 years proven experience working as a Django Developer.
- Experience working in Agile teams is an added advantage.
Skills:
- Strong proficiency in Python and Django/Django REST Framework.
- Experience with PostgreSQL/MySQL and database optimization.
- Knowledge of authentication/authorization mechanisms.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Understanding of version control tools (Git/GitHub/GitLab).
