Responsibilities
- Conduct accurate testing and analysis of petroleum products, including fuels, lubricants, and other derivatives.
- Ensure all tests are performed in line with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and industry standards (ASTM, ISO, API, etc.).
- Record, interpret, and report test results clearly and promptly.
- Calibrate and maintain laboratory instruments to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Adhere strictly to safety, quality, and environmental standards in all laboratory activities.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives in laboratory processes and quality systems.
- Assist in maintaining proper documentation and data management for all laboratory operations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Industrial Chemistry, or a related scientific discipline.
- Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in a petroleum or lubricant laboratory environment.
- Strong understanding of petroleum product specifications and quality testing procedures.
- Familiarity with laboratory safety protocols and equipment handling.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience with petroleum product testing methods and quality analysis techniques.
- Knowledge of relevant industry standards (ASTM, ISO, API, SAE).
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering accurate results.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
