 Responsibilities:

Recruitment & Staffing

  • Oversee the full recruitment cycle from job posting to onboarding.
  • Develop and maintain job descriptions and specifications for all roles.
  • Ensure fair and transparent selection processes.

Performance Management

  • Implement performance appraisal systems aligned with company objectives.
  • Support line managers in setting performance goals and KPIs.
  • Monitor employee productivity and provide feedback and coaching where necessary.

Employee Relations & Engagement

  • Serve as the first point of contact for employee grievances and disciplinary issues.
  • Promote a healthy, safe, and productive work environment.
  • Organize team-building and staff engagement activities.

Training & Development

  • Identify staff training needs and create annual training plans.
  • Coordinate internal and external training sessions.
  • Maintain training records and evaluate effectiveness.

Compensation & Benefita

  • Administer payroll, leave, and benefits in compliance with company policies.
  • Review and recommend compensation structures that ensure internal equity and external competitiveness.

HR Policy & Compliance

  • Develop, update, and enforce HR policies and employee handbooks.
  • Ensure compliance with Nigerian labour laws and relevant statutory bodies.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential employee records.

Strategic HR Planning

  • Advise management on HR trends, succession planning, and workforce development.
  • Support organizational restructuring and change management initiatives.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Industrial Relations, or related field.
  • Professional certification (e.g., CIPM, SHRM) is an added advantage.
  • Minimum of 3 years progressive experience in human resources management.
  • Strong knowledge of Nigerian labour laws and HR best practices.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office tools.
