Job Overview
- Senior Software Engineer with strong expertise in Java or Go (Golang) and modern backend technologies.
- The ideal candidate will design, build, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performance backend systems that power our digital platforms.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop backend systems, microservices, and APIs using Java (Spring Boot) or Go.
- Architect, implement, and maintain database schemas (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or Redis).
- Integrate external APIs and third-party services securely and efficiently.
- Implement CI/CD, automated testing, and code review processes.
- Collaborate with DevOps to optimize deployments, monitoring, and scaling.
- Participate in technical design sessions and contribute to architectural decisions.
- Ensure systems meet high standards of performance, reliability, and security.
- Mentor junior developers and promote best coding practices.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional software development experience.
- Strong proficiency in Java (Spring Boot) or Go (Golang).
- Solid understanding of microservices architecture and RESTful API design.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Good knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Familiarity with Git, unit testing frameworks, and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or DigitalOcean).
- Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and team collaboration abilities.
Preferred:
- Experience with message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ, NATS).
- Familiarity with event-driven architectures.
- Knowledge of system security, API gateway design, and observability (Grafana, Prometheus, ELK).
