Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and innovative Applications Developer to design, develop, implement, and maintain software applications that enhance operational efficiency and support business processes.
The ideal candidate will work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into functional, user-friendly applications.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, test, and maintain high-quality software applications in alignment with business needs.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, UI/UX designers, and system administrators, to deliver robust software solutions.
Design and implement scalable, secure, and high-performance applications.
Integrate third-party APIs and services into existing applications.
Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues in a timely manner.
Ensure applications adhere to best practices in coding, security, and performance optimization.
Document application development processes, code changes, and technical specifications.
Stay updated with emerging technologies and propose innovative solutions to improve existing systems.
Provide technical support and training to users as needed.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in application development, preferably in a fintech or financial services environment.
Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, .NET, or JavaScript (React, Angular, or Vue.js).
Experience with database management systems like MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and cloud-based solutions (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
Knowledge of DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), is a plus.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Skills:

Experience in financial applications, microfinance, or insurance-related software development.
Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices.
Understanding of regulatory compliance in the fintech or insurance sector.
