Job description

We are seeking an experienced and friendly Cashier for a leading fashion store in Lekki, Nigeria. This role is perfect for individuals with a passion for fashion, excellent customer service skills, and a keen eye for detail. As a Cashier, you will manage customer transactions, ensure an efficient and smooth checkout process, and contribute to the overall customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet customers with a warm, welcoming attitude, creating a positive shopping environment.
  • ⁠Accurately process customer purchases using the cash register or POS system, ensuring correct totals and discounts.
  • ⁠Efficiently handle various forms of payments including cash, credit/debit cards, and mobile payments.
  • ⁠Double-check that items and prices on customers’ receipts match their selections, ensuring accuracy during the checkout process.
  • ⁠Offer assistance to customers with product queries, including sizing, materials, and styling recommendations, while keeping up with store inventory and fashion trends.
  • ⁠Address customer complaints, returns, and exchanges with professionalism, ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • ⁠Keep the checkout area neat, tidy, and organized, providing a pleasant shopping experience.
  • ⁠Work closely with your team to achieve sales targets and maintain smooth store operations.

Qualifications:

  • 2-3 years of cashier or retail experience, preferably in a fashion or customer-focused environment.
  • ⁠Strong ability to handle transactions with precision, ensuring accurate pricing and inventory management.
  • ⁠Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on providing exceptional customer service.
  • ⁠A genuine interest in fashion and product knowledge is a plus!r for a leading fashion store.
