• We’re seeking a Cloud Engineer – DevOps & Automation to build and optimize CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, and cloud-native solutions on Microsoft Azure.
• As part of the Microsoft Cloud Center of Excellence (CoE), you will drive continuous integration, deployment automation, infrastructure as code (IaC), and cloud security best practices across hybrid and multi-cloud environments.
• The ideal candidate has hands-on expertise in Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Terraform/Bicep, Kubernetes, and automation frameworks to improve scalability, reliability, and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins.
• Automate build, test, and deployment workflows for applications and infrastructure.
• Implement GitOps best practices using ArgoCD, Flux, or Terraform Cloud.
• Ensure secure code scanning and compliance checks using SonarQube, Snyk, and Microsoft Defender for DevOps.
• Optimize release management with Blue-Green, Canary, and Feature Flags.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform, Bicep, and ARM Templates.
• Deploy and manage Kubernetes (AKS), containerized applications, and microservices.
• Implement self-healing infrastructure using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Auto-scaling.
• Automate networking, security, and identity configurations using PowerShell, Azure CLI, and Python.
• Set up end-to-end monitoring and alerting using Azure Monitor, Application Insights, and Log Analytics.
• Implement AI-driven anomaly detection and predictive monitoring using Azure Metrics Advisor.
• Automate incident response workflows using Logic Apps, Event Grid, and Azure Functions.
• Improve observability with distributed tracing tools like OpenTelemetry and Jaeger.
• Enforce cloud security controls using Azure Policy, Defender for Cloud, and RBAC.
• Automate governance and compliance enforcement for SOC2, ISO 27001, NIST, HIPAA, and CIS benchmarks.
• Implement cost-optimization strategies using Azure Cost Management APIs and FinOps principles.
• Support multi-cloud (Azure, OCI) CI/CD and automation frameworks.
• Implement cross-cloud identity federation, workload deployment, and security compliance.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Automation, and CI/CD Pipelines, with at least 1 year in Azure.
• Strong expertise in Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Terraform, Bicep, and ARM Templates.
• Experience with container orchestration (AKS, Docker, Kubernetes, Helm Charts).
• Hands-on experience in SRE, monitoring, logging, and incident response automation.
• Solid understanding of security best practices, RBAC, IAM, and compliance automation.
• Strong written and verbal English skills are required for effective communication.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills for debugging and optimizing automation workflows.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills for working with Security and Cloud teams.
• Ability to document automation frameworks, security policies, and CI/CD workflows.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with multi-cloud DevOps and hybrid cloud automation.
• Familiarity with Service Mesh and API Gateway automation.
• Certifications such as Microsoft Certified: DevOps Engineer Expert, Terraform Associate.
• Strong knowledge of serverless automation using Azure Functions and Event-Driven Architecture.
