Job Description

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality Java applications
• Write well-designed, efficient, and testable code
• Analyze user requirements to inform application design
• Develop and maintain APIs (RESTful/SOAP) for integration with external systems
• Ensure applications meet security and performance standards
• Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle
• Translate application storyboards and use cases into functional applications
• Conduct software analysis, programming, testing, and debugging
• Prepare and maintain code documentation
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
• Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade existing systems
• Apply industry best practices for software development

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• 1-3 years’ experience in Java development
• Strong proficiency in Java SE/EE
• Experience with frameworks such as Spring Boot, Hibernate, Vaadin or similar
• Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is an advantage
• Good understanding of databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server)
• Familiarity with version control systems, preferably Git
• Experience developing RESTful and SOAP web services
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Exceptional communication and reporting skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work in a high-pressure, deadline-driven environment
• A portfolio or GitHub profile showcasing Java projects is a plus
