Role Overview
- We’re looking for a skilled Backend Engineer (Python) to join our engineering team onsite.
- You will be responsible for developing, testing, and maintaining high-quality backend systems and APIs that power our products.
- This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about backend architecture, clean code, and building reliable, scalable systems in Python.
What You’ll Do
- Build and maintain robust RESTful APIs and backend services in Python.
- Architect and optimize scalable server-side applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including frontend engineers and product managers.
- Manage databases and ensure data integrity, performance, and security.
- Debug, test, and troubleshoot software and server infrastructure.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices.
- Work closely with DevOps for deployment, monitoring, and automation tasks.
- Stay updated with new backend trends and bring fresh ideas to the table.
What We’re Looking For
- Interested candidates should possess a Bachelor’s Degree
- 3+ years of backend development experience
- Strong Python skills (Django, Flask, or FastAPI)
- Proficient in working with PostgreSQL, MySQL, or other relational databases
- Experience with Docker, Git, Redis, Celery
- Familiarity with backend security practices
- Excellent debugging and testing skills
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Willingness and availability to work onsite.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure
- Familiarity with microservices architecture
- Knowledge of GraphQL or WebSockets
- CI/CD and DevOps experience.
