Job Description
- We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Database System / Network Administrator to manage and maintain our organization’s network infrastructure and data systems.
Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain network hardware and software, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues
- Maintain network documentation and topology diagrams
- Manage firewalls, VPNs, and security appliances to protect data and systems
- Configure and maintain DNS, DHCP, and IP addressing schemes
- Ensure network compliance with security policies and procedures
- Manage databases
- Monitor database health and integrity, ensuring high availability and security
- Perform regular maintenance, updates, and patching of database systems
- Create and manage user accounts, permissions, and roles
- Support data migration and integration across platforms
- Ensure proper data backup and disaster recovery strategies are in place.
