Job Summary
- We are seeking a skilled and proactive DevOps Engineer to support the development, deployment, and operation of scalable, secure, and highly available systems.
- The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between development and operations by automating processes, improving system reliability, and enabling faster and more reliable software delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support automated build, test, and deployment processes
- Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure on platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Infrastructure as Code (IaC)tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation)
- Deploy, manage, and monitor containerized applications using Docker and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes
- Monitor system performance, availability, and security; respond to incidents and outages
- Collaborate closely with software development teams to support application releases and environment stability
- Implement and maintain logging, monitoring, and alerting solutions (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack)
- Enforce security best practices, access controls, and compliance requirements across environments
- Perform system upgrades, patches, and routine maintenance activities
- Document infrastructure, processes, and operational procedures
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
- Proven experience in a DevOps, Site Reliability, or Systems Engineering role
- Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix system administration
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps)
- Experience working with cloud platforms( AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or PowerShell
- Experience with Dockerand container orchestration platforms (Kubernetes preferred)
- Strong understanding of networking, security, and system reliability principles
Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Experience with Terraform or other IaC tools
- Knowledge of configuration management tools (Ansible, Chef, Puppet)
- Familiarity with microservices and distributed systems
- Experience implementing high availability and disaster recovery solutions
- Exposure to security and DevSecOps practices
- Experience in fintech, banking, or enterprise environments.
