Job  overview 

  • We are seeking to hire a qualified and experienced End User & Asset Management Engineer. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing IT assets, ensuring optimal performance of end-user devices, and providing technical support to users.
  • The End User & Asset Management Engineer will manage end-user devices and IT assets throughout their lifecycle, maintain asset inventory records, and provide support to users to ensure efficient and uninterrupted business operations.

 Responsibilities

  • Manage the lifecycle of IT assets including procurement, deployment, tracking, maintenance and retirement.
  • Maintain an up-to-date asset inventory database using asset management tools.
  • Install, configure and support desktops, laptops, printers, and other end-user devices.
  • Provide Level One and Level Two technical support to users on hardware and software related issues.
  • Monitor and ensure enforcement of IT asset usage policies and security compliance.
  • Coordinate asset repairs, replacements and vendor management when required.
  • Conduct periodic audits to ensure asset accuracy and accountability.
  • Prepare asset reports including usage, performance and lifecycle status.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
  • 5 to 7 years experience in IT Asset Management and End-User Support.
  • Strong experience with asset management tools, inventory tracking systems and IT documentation.
  • Hands-on experience with Windows and macOS operating systems.
  • Knowledge of Active Directory, Microsoft 365 and user administration.
  • Good understanding of ITIL processes and IT service management platforms such as Jira, Zendesk or ServiceNow.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
