Frontend Engineer at Sproxil

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Frontend Engineer to join our development team.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain user-facing features using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript(ReactJs).
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers and backend developers to implement functional, interactive designs.
• Optimize web applications for maximum speed and responsiveness.
• Debug and resolve front-end issues across different browsers and devices.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to front-end development best practices.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
• Stay up to date with emerging front-end trends and technologies.

Requirements

• Experience: 6months – 1 year of professional experience (SIWES or NYSC preferred)
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• Proficiency in HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, CSS3, and TypeScript
• The candidate will be required to demonstrate a robust command of these technologies during the interview process.
• Knowledge of JSON, XML, Session, Cookies, and other JavaScript web APIs required
• Experience developing cross-platform, data-rich internet applications
• Experience with state management libraries (e.g., Redux, Context API)
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and integrating backend services
• Understanding and direct practical experience with progressive web app design, responsive design principles, and mobile-first development
• Knowledge of version control systems, preferably Git
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Preferred Technical Skills:

• Experience with TypeScript
• CSS3, Tailwind, Chadcn, Material UI, styled components, SASS
• Familiarity with testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, Enzyme)
• Understanding of web performance optimization techniques.
• Experience with modern build tools (e.g., Web-pack, Babel)
