Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain scalable backend services for web and mobile applications.
• Build and optimize APIs (RESTful, GraphQL) for seamless integration with front-end applications.
• Work with SMS/MMS, SMPP, and bulk messaging systems to enhance communication solutions.
• Optimize backend logic for real-time data processing and high-performance messaging systems.
• Design, develop, and manage databases (SQL/NoSQL) to ensure efficient data storage and retrieval.
• Implement security best practices, including authentication, authorization, and data encryption.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize server-side code for performance improvements.
• Collaborate with frontend developer and product team to build robust applications.
• Ensure smooth deployment and maintenance using CI/CD pipelines and cloud services (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and trends in backend development, messaging protocols, and cloud infrastructure.

Requirements

• 2–4 years of experience as a Backend Developer.
• Proficiency in backend programming languages such as Node.js, Python, Java, PHP, or Ruby.
• Experience with messaging protocols (SMPP, MQTT, WebSockets) and bulk messaging systems.
• Strong understanding of API development (RESTful, GraphQL) and third-party service integration.
• Knowledge of databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis) and query optimization.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Hands-on experience with server security, authentication mechanisms (OAuth, JWT), and encryption protocols.
• Experience with version control systems (Git, GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket).
• Strong debugging, problem-solving, and performance tuning skills.

Preferred Skills (Bonus Points):

• Experience working with telecommunications protocols and SMS gateways.
• Familiarity with microservices architecture and serverless computing.
• Exposure to AI-driven automation and chatbots in messaging systems.
• Understanding of DevOps practices, including monitoring and logging tools.
