Summary

• We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented IT Officer to support the organization’s daily IT operations.
• The ideal candidate will possess broad IT knowledge, including hardware/software troubleshooting, system maintenance, and basic website management skills.
• A foundational understanding of website development (e.g., WordPress or HTML/CSS) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-line support for IT-related issues (hardware, software, network).
• Install, configure, and maintain computers, printers, and other IT equipment.
• Maintain and update IT inventory and documentation.
• Assist in the routine maintenance of office systems and databases.
• Provide basic support and content updates for the organization’s website using tools such as WordPress or HTML.
• Ensure data backup systems are in place and functioning properly.
• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues.
• Assist with user account setup, email configuration, and software installation.
• Liaise with external IT vendors when necessary.
• Support staff with IT training or onboarding as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 2-3 years of IT support experience in a professional setting.
• Working knowledge of Windows OS, Microsoft Office Suite, and basic networking.
• Basic knowledge of website CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress) or HTML/CSS.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
