Job overview 

  • We are seeking a skilled and motivated IT Specialist / Patient Care Coordinator to join our team in Enugu.
  • This role combines strong computer/IT expertise with patient care coordination duties, making it ideal for someone who is both technically proficient and patient-focused.

Responsibilities

  • Provide IT support for office operations, including troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Manage electronic health records (EHR) systems and ensure accurate data entry and retrieval.
  • Train and support staff on computer systems, applications, and patient management tools.
  • Coordinate patient care activities including scheduling, communication, and follow-up.
  • Maintain secure handling of patient data in compliance with data protection policies.
  • Support the integration of technology into clinical and administrative processes.
  • Assist in creating reports, dashboards, and digital tracking tools.

Requirements

  • Minimum of a Diploma / Associate Degree (ND / HND or equivalent) in Computer Science, IT, Health Information Management, or related field.
  • 2 years proven experience as an IT Specialist, IT Support Officer, or similar role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, health information systems, and basic networking.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Health Informatics, or related discipline.
  • Prior experience in healthcare administration or patient care coordination.
  • Familiarity with electronic health records systems.
