Responsibilities
- To provide support for all IT infrastructure hardware & applications as well as configuration, upgrades and maintenance
- To test and implement software patches for all applications, including third party applications
- To maintain comprehensive and updated documentation of all ICT systems and assets infrastructure in use by the Group
- Provide technical support for both hardware and software issues our users encounter
- Respond to and resolve help desk routine tickets.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- B.Sc / HND in Computer Science / Engineering
- Added advantage of Certification in Microsoft, Networking, cloud computing and security systems.
Experience:
- Minimum of 3 – 5 years’ post-qualification experience
- Experience with complex databases.
Technical Competencies:
- Ability to maintain, troubleshoot, and administer the use of local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), mainframe networks, computer workstations, connections to the Internet and peripheral equipment
- Ability to evaluate and install computer hardware, networking software, operating system software and software applications
- Repairing equipment and replacing parts, checking computer equipment for electrical safety
- Identifies ways to constantly improve operational efficiency.
- Ability to learn new skills quickly.
- Maintains up to date knowledge of recent trends within the IT profession.
Computer Literacy:
- Windows 2003 till the latest version
- Vista Networks
- Active Directories
- TCP/IP and Linux servers
- Microsoft operating systems and software
- HTML, PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, etc.
- In-depth technical knowledge of PC hardware.
