The need for such a specialist hospital arises from advanced health care gaps in Kenya and in wider East Africa and Central Africa regions.
Job Overview:
We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Nurses to join our multidisciplinary healthcare team. The successful candidates will provide high-quality nursing care across various units of the hospital, ensuring patient safety, dignity, and comfort at all times.
Job Description
- Provide direct patient care, including monitoring, assessment, and treatment.
- Administer medications, injections, and infusions as prescribed.
- Monitor vital signs and promptly escalate clinical concerns.
- Support doctors and specialists during procedures and treatments.
- Maintain accurate and timely nursing documentation and handovers.
- Educate patients and families on care plans, discharge instructions, and follow-up care.
- Uphold hospital protocols, patient safety, and infection prevention standards.
- Contribute to continuous quality improvement initiatives within the hospital.
Qualifications:
- Diploma- KRCHN, KRN or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) from a recognized institution.
- Valid registration and practicing license with the Nursing Council of Kenya (NCK).
- At least 2 years of nursing experience in a hospital setting.- medical surgical wards (Experience in specialty areas such as ICU, HDU, maternity is an added advantage.)
