Job overview
- The company is seeking to hire a highly skilled NetSuite Developer to join its IT team. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with key business managers across Finance & Administration, Order Management, and Purchasing to translate business requirements into effective system solutions. This role will be responsible for the end-to-end technical design, development, quality assurance, implementation, and post-production support of NetSuite applications. In addition, the developer will support ongoing system integrations with corporate applications and drive process automation initiatives
Responsibilities
- Developing and implementing NetSuite customizations.
- Analyzing and understanding existing software.
- Assisting technical teams with change management and technical skills.
- Customizing NetSuite fields, record types, reports, page layouts, and dashboards. Writing design specifications and estimates for programs.
- Discussion with decision-makers to optimize and improve technology management.
- Using JavaScript, PHP, and SQL, among other programming languages, to customize the NetSuite system.
- Working with a team to develop, test, and roll out solutions.
- Demonstrating the scripted solution and assisting with any issues.
- Building and designing integration solutions for clients.
- Participating in business process mapping and requirements gathering sessions.
- Providing technical support to clients on NetSuite product offerings.
- Implementing, configuring, troubleshooting, and resolving technical issues relating to NetSuite products.
- Collaborating with the IT and accounting teams to understand business requirements and design effective NetSuite solutions.
- Leading the implementation process, including configuration, customization, data migration, and testing, to ensure the successful adoption.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a technical or scientific discipline or equivalent
- Direct NetSuite experience & certifications a plus
- Experience as a consultant strongly preferred
- Hands-on experience in the retail and manufacturing industries is highly preferred
- NetSuite Foundation certification is a plus
- Suite Cloud Developer I certification is a plus
- Deep understanding of NetSuite functionality
- Knowledge of OneWorld implementations
- Delivery of configurations and customizations within NetSuite
- Deep knowledge of NetSuite reporting tools and dashboards
- Skilled at NetSuite Data migration tools
