Job Summary

• We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Oracle Developer to join our dynamic team in Surulere.
• The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of hands-on experience in Oracle database development, PL/SQL programming, and performance tuning.
• You will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining database systems that are integral to our business operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement database objects (tables, views, indexes, procedures, functions) using Oracle PL/SQL.
• Write optimized SQL queries and PL/SQL blocks for high-performance applications.
• Conduct performance tuning and query optimization to ensure database efficiency.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation for database design and procedures.
• Collaborate with application developers and business analysts to meet functional requirements.
• Monitor and maintain data integrity, security, and availability across environments.
• Participate in code reviews and enforce database development best practices.
• Assist with database troubleshooting, bug fixing, and support activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 3–5 years of proven experience as an Oracle Developer.
• Strong proficiency in Oracle 11g/12c/19c environments.
• Solid knowledge of PL/SQL, SQL tuning, stored procedures, triggers, and packages.
• Experience with database design and data modeling concepts.
• Familiarity with Oracle development tools (e.g., TOAD, SQL Developer).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and team collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Oracle APEX, Forms/Reports is an added advantage.
• Exposure to Agile/Scrum development processes.
• Knowledge of version control systems like Git.
