Clover South Africa (Clover SA Proprietary Limited) is a leading dairy and food company based in South Africa. The company is involved in the manufacturing, marketing, and distribution of dairy products, beverages, and other food items.
Responsibilities
- Manufacture and process Milk, Whey and Buttermilk powder and related products while ensuring product quality, operational efficiency, and compliance with Clover standards.
- Apply quality assurance principles to the powder production process to ensure product integrity.
- Monitor inputs and outputs throughout the spray-drying and packaging processes.
- Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
- Maintain excellent housekeeping using 5S principles.
- Ensure correct and safe use of Evaporator, Tower spray dryer and packaging equipment.
- Conduct first-line inspections and basic maintenance as required.
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for powder production and packaging.
- Ensure correct Cleaning-In-Place (CIP) procedures are followed.
- Monitor process parameters to maintain consistent product quality.
- Ensure optimal utilization of production staff.
- Provide leadership, training, and development to team members.
- Apply consistent discipline and maintain effective communication with all staff.
- Conduct team meetings and liaise with management in all departments.
- Set objectives and monitor team performance to achieve production targets.
Requirements
- Grade 12 or equivalent NQF4
- Tertiary qualification in Food technology/Science, Quality Management advantageous
- Familiar with Automotive machinery/systems + SCADA
- Computer literacy (Intermediate)
- Business English: Fluent
- 3 5yrs relevant experience (FMCG/Food Production) in applying job related concepts, techniques, and processes at the required level
- Work shifts/weekends/public holidays
- Must be willing to reside in Heilbron
