Job Overview
- We are seeking a highly driven Product Manager – Payment to lead the design, development, and management of Kalabash’s payment products and platforms.
- This role is central to building world-class payment experiences across multiple channels (online, in-app, POS, and APIs) while ensuring reliability, security, and scalability.
- The ideal candidate will bring expertise in payment systems, customer experience, and product innovation to help drive Kalabash’s growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the product lifecycle for payment solutions—from ideation, business case development, and execution to scaling and continuous enhancement.
- Define the product vision, strategy, and roadmap aligned with customer needs, market opportunities, and business priorities.
- Partner with engineering, design, compliance, and operations teams to deliver secure, scalable, and user-friendly payment solutions.
- Manage integrations with payment processors, gateways, banks, and third-party providers.
- Track key product metrics (adoption, transaction success rates, revenue, customer satisfaction) and implement data-driven improvements.
- Ensure compliance with payment regulations, KYC/AML requirements, and data security standards.
- Stay ahead of industry trends including digital wallets, mobile payments, APIs, and cross-border payment innovations.
- Advocate for customer experience, ensuring payment solutions are intuitive, seamless, and reliable.
Requirements
Educational Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Technology, or a related discipline; MBA or advanced certification is a plus.
- 4+ years of product management experience within fintech, payments, or banking (payment product experience required).
- Strong knowledge of payment platforms, transaction processing, settlement, reconciliation, and APIs.
- Experience with digital payments, wallets, gateways, and integrations.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and cross-functional leadership skills.
- Proven record of successfully launching and scaling payment products.
