Job Summary

  • Mobile Sport Limited (MSport) is a Nigeria-based digital sports betting operator specialising in mobile-first gaming solutions.
  • We are looking for a dedicated and goal-oriented person to fill the role of User Operations Specialist.
  • This role requires a strong understanding of user behaviour and in-product operational levers to support user growth, retention, and satisfaction.
  • It plays a key part in helping MSport better understand and serve our users through data-driven and locally tailored operational strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Track and analyse the effectiveness of in-platform promotion channels such as landing pages, ad slots, push notifications, SMS, and in-app messages. Optimise strategies based on performance data.
  • Contribute to daily operational execution (e.g. ad slot configuration, task setup) and testing activities, including design, participation, and evaluation of A/B or beta tests.
  • Conduct competitor benchmarking that focuses on in-platform strategies, including campaign mechanics, bonus design, user engagement flows, and overall product experience. Generate actionable reports based on analysis.
  • Design and conduct online or phone surveys to gather user feedback, analyse insights, and provide actionable suggestions to enhance user experience.
  • Support user segmentation efforts and tailor operational strategies for different user groups (e.g. new users, lapsed users, high-value users).
  • Provide suggestions for optimising product experience and operational workflows, and actively participate in other key operational initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Marketing, Public Relations, Data Analysis, Business Management, Media and Communication, Technical, or a related field.
  • Working Experience: 1-3 years in user or product operations or customer service roles, preferably in the gambling, gaming, entertainment or e-commerce industries.
  • Language: Excellent written and verbal English (Bonus with local languages)
  • Technical: Proficient in tools such as Excel, Google Analytics, PowerPoint, and others.
  • Sports Enthusiast: A Wealth of knowledge about sports, especially in football, is preferred.
  • 1 year or above gambling experience (without addiction)
  • Working on weekdays and Saturday mornings. Accept shift work during holidays if necessary.
  • Detail-oriented and well-organised, ensuring minimal errors.
  • Highly self-motivated and curious, adaptable to fast-paced and evolving environments.
  • Strong user insight capabilities, capable of identifying and developing the real needs of local users.
  • Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills.
  • Strong logical thinking with a root cause analysis mindset.
