Job Overview
- This is a Hybrid role located in Lagos for a Software Engineer.
- The Software Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining software applications. Daily tasks include writing code, debugging software, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and participating in code reviews.
- The role also involves the continual assessment and implementation of new technologies to improve software performance and user experience.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in programming languages like Python or similar
- Experience with web development technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript
- Knowledge in database management systems including SQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB
- Familiarity with software design and architecture
- Experience with version control systems like Git
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- Experience in agile/scrum methodologies is a plus
- Familiarity with cloud services such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is beneficial
