Job Summary
- We are seeking a skilled and organized Software Project Manager to lead and oversee projects from conception to completion.
- The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering projects within scope, budget, and deadlines.
- This role requires strong leadership, excellent communication, and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders while ensuring high-quality outcomes.
- The Software Project Manager will play a key role in driving efficiency, solving challenges, and ensuring successful project delivery that aligns with organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop detailed project plans including scope, timelines, resources, budgets, and risk assessments.
- Lead the end-to-end execution of assigned projects, ensuring delivery in line with departmental standards and client expectations.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams (Analysts, Engineers, Vendors/Consultants) for seamless execution.
- Engage directly with clients to gather requirements, clarify deliverables, and provide updates.
- Manage client expectations, ensuring transparent communication throughout the project lifecycle.
- Track and report project progress, risks, and issues.
- Ensure compliance with PMO governance frameworks, SLA requirements, and documentation standards.
- Maintain accurate project records, charters, and change requests.
- Identify potential risks and implement mitigation plans proactively.
- Escalate unresolved issues in a timely manner.
- Facilitate effective collaboration and accountability across all roles in the project.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
- Professional certifications (PMP, PRINCE2, Agile/Scrum Master) preferred.
- 2-5 years’ experience managing enterprise-level IT projects (ERP, Cloud, Infrastructure, IT Solutions or Telecom).
- Proven ability to deliver projects within scope, budget, and timelines.
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and tools (Microsoft Project, Jira, Asana, etc.)
- Skilled in organization, planning, communication, and stakeholder management, with strengths in risk assessment, budgeting, teamwork, and leadership.
