- The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the stability, security, and efficiency of our IT infrastructure while ensuring seamless operations across the organization.
Responsibilities
- Manage, monitor, and maintain servers, networks, and core IT infrastructure.
- Ensure high system availability in line with defined uptime targets (SLA/SLO compliance).
- Troubleshoot and resolve system, network, and security incidents promptly.
- Reduce downtime through effective Mean Time to Recovery (MTTR) processes.
- Implement automation tools for infrastructure provisioning and routine tasks.
- Set up and manage effective monitoring, logging, and alerting systems.
- Support business teams with ICT-related needs and ensure process efficiency through automation.
- Maintain documentation of system configurations, procedures, and policies.
- Provide proactive support, system upgrades, and performance tuning.
Qualifications
- OND or Higher National Diploma (HND), B.Sc., or related degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or relevant field.
- Proven experience as a System Administrator or in a similar IT infrastructure role.
- Understanding of SLAs/SLOs and proven experience maintaining strong uptime performance.
- Ability to analyze system failures and minimize critical incidents/downtime events.
- Hands-on knowledge of infrastructure provisioning, cloud platforms (bonus), and scripting/automation tools.
- Familiarity with monitoring tools (e.g., Zabbix, Grafana, Nagios), log management, and alerting systems.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to respond quickly to incidents.
- Excellent communication, documentation, and teamwork abilities.
