Job overview
- We are seeking to hire a qualified and experienced Technical Business Analyst. The ideal candidate will work closely with clients and internal teams to gather business requirements, translate them into functional specifications, and support solution implementation throughout the project lifecycle.
- The Technical Business Analyst will analyze business processes, document requirements, support solution design, and ensure alignment between business needs and technical delivery.
Responsibilities
- Gather, analyze and document business requirements from stakeholders and end users.
- Translate business needs into functional and technical specifications for the software development team.
- Conduct feasibility studies and assist in solution design and process improvements.
- Work closely with developers, QA and project managers to ensure requirements are clearly understood and implemented correctly.
- Support user acceptance testing (UAT), including test planning, test case development and defect tracking.
- Prepare business process models, workflow diagrams, reports and documentation.
- Ensure timely communication of project updates, risks and issues to stakeholders.
- Provide post-deployment support and assist in change management activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration or a related field.
- 5 to 7 years experience as a Business Analyst in an ICT or software development environment.
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies.
- Ability to write clear business and functional requirements, user stories and process flows.
- Hands-on experience with business analysis tools such as Jira, Confluence, Visio, or similar.
- Ability to analyze data and write SQL queries is an added advantage.
- Strong analytical, documentation and problem-solving skills.
Soft Skills:
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Good teamwork and collaboration ability.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
