Job Summary
The UX Specialist will be responsible for creating seamless, engaging, and user-friendly digital experiences across our websites, mobile apps, and interactive platforms. Working closely with editorial, design, and technology teams, the specialist will ensure that our digital products are both visually appealing and highly functional.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct user research, usability testing, and audience feedback sessions to inform design decisions.
- Translate user needs and business goals into wireframes, prototypes, and final designs.
- Collaborate with product managers, developers, and editors to deliver intuitive and impactful digital products.
- Apply UX best practices to improve navigation, accessibility, and engagement across platforms.
- Develop user journeys, personas, and workflows to guide product development.
- Monitor analytics and user behaviour to continuously optimize experiences.
Qualifications & Skills Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Design, Computer Science, or related field.
- 4 – 6 years’ experience in UX design, preferably in media, tech, or digital publishing.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating UX projects.
- Proficiency in design and prototyping tools.
- Knowledge of front – end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is an added advantage.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
