- We are looking for a talented and experienced WordPress Developer to join our team and contribute to the development and continuous improvement of our educational e-learning and job portal platform. Responsibilities
- Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress themes and plugins with advanced e-learning functionalities.
- Implement and optimize LMS plugins (e.g., LearnDash, Sensei, Tutor LMS) tailored to user needs and course structure.
- Build responsive, mobile-friendly, and visually appealing front-end interfaces.
- Ensure platform security, performance, scalability, and SEO optimization.
- Perform ongoing maintenance, regular updates, and troubleshoot technical issues.
- Integrate third-party APIs and services such as video hosting and communication tools.
- Conduct rigorous testing to ensure functionality, compatibility, and a seamless user experience.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a WordPress Developer with a portfolio of custom-built themes/plugins.
- Strong hands-on experience with e-learning systems and LMS tools (e.g., LearnDash, Tutor LMS, Sensei, LifterLMS).
- Proficient inPHP, MySQL, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript.
- Familiarity with front-end frameworks such as React, Vue.js, or Angular is an added advantage.
- Deep understanding of WordPress coding standards, security protocols, and performance optimization.
- Comfortable working with REST APIs and third-party integrations.
- Experience with Git or other version control systems.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or collaboratively.
- Basic knowledge of SEO and web accessibility standards.
Bonus Skills:
- UI/UX design experience, particularly for educational platforms.
- Familiarity with web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics).
- A genuine passion for technology and education.
