  • We are seeking a Junior WordPress Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of WordPress development, including theme customization, plugin integration, and website optimization. You will collaborate with the team to build, maintain, and enhance WordPress websites, ensuring they meet our clients’ requirements and industry standards.

Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and customize WordPress themes and plugins to meet project requirements.
  • Build responsive and user-friendly websites using WordPress.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to WordPress sites.
  • Collaborate with designers and other developers to implement website features and functionality.
  • Optimize websites for performance, speed, and SEO.
  • Ensure all websites are secure, updated, and functional across various browsers and devices.
  • Participate in testing and quality assurance processes for website launches.
  • Stay updated with the latest WordPress trends, tools, and best practices.

Requirements:

  • 1–3 years of experience in WordPress development (internships or personal projects are acceptable).
  • Proficiency in WordPress development, including themes, plugins, and custom post types.
  • Basic experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and JQuery.
  • Familiarity with front-end frameworks such as Bootstrap or Foundation.
  • Understanding of responsive design principles and cross-browser compatibility.
  • Experience with version control systems like Git and package managers (e.g., Composer, npm) is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills.
