Job description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented ML Evaluation Specialist to assess and validate machine learning model outputs. This role focuses on measuring model performance, identifying weaknesses, and ensuring predictions align with expected outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate ML model predictions against ground truth datasets
- Validate and annotate prediction correctness
- Score model outputs using both quantitative metrics and qualitative assessment
- Conduct error categorization and structured performance feedback
- Identify systematic failure patterns and recurring model weaknesses
- Perform in-depth error analysis to improve model reliability
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent professional experience
- 2 – 4 years experience conducting error analysis and interpreting model performance trends
- Strong understanding of machine learning fundamentals
- Familiarity with evaluation metrics such as accuracy, precision, recall, F1-score, and confusion matrices
- Ability to analyze structured datasets and model outputs
- Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail
